About Maria

Compassionate Presence. Meaningful Connection.

There are moments in life when words do not come easily—grief, loss, illness, saying goodbye or beginning again. During those times, one of the greatest gifts we can offer another person is simply to be present.

My calling has led me to walk beside individuals and families during some of life’s most tender and meaningful moments—as an ordained minister, Certified Grief Counselor, Certified Grief Support Counselor and spiritual care provider. But my work begins with something much simpler: Listening.

Every person’s story deserves to be heard and every person’s experience deserves to be honored. You will not be told how you should feel or where you should be in your journey. You can begin exactly where you are.

Why This Work Is Personal to Me

My understanding of grief comes not only from education, certification and ministry, but also from experiencing profound loss in my own life. I understand how grief can change the landscape of a life and how the world around us can continue while our own world feels very different.

That experience has deepened the way I serve others. It has taught me the importance of listening without judgment, allowing each person’s experience to be their own, and being present without trying to provide easy answers.

You Are Welcome Here

You may come with strong faith. You may be questioning what you believe. You may consider yourself spiritual but not religious. Or perhaps you simply need someone to listen. You are welcome.

Our time together can provide space for conversation, reflection, questions, memories and whatever you may be carrying.
